We are delighted to announce that the Addenbrooke's Ophthalmology Department has chosen Cambridge Eye Trust and Camsight to be their charities for 2021*.

Their first fundraising event was to take part in the Virtual Cambridge Half Marathon in March 2021. The team goal was to run 500 Km (310 miles) in one month - they achieved 3,158 km (1963 Miles), raising nearly £1,000! Thank you and well done!

After a month of running/jogging/walking in and around Addenbrooke's the 30 strong team of managers, orthoptists, optometrists, nurses, photographers, ophthalmologists, parents and children of eye health workers (plus 1 dog) collectively covered over 3000 kilometres and made it from Cambridge to just outside Jacksonville Florida.

There is still time congratulate them on their success by making a donation, please click here to be redirected to the CET/Marathon event fundraising page.

We thank you in advance for supporting them, and us, to raise money for our Cambridge based charities. Together we can help to save sight.

* All money raised will be split 50:50 between Cambridge Eye Trust and Camsight.
